Standardized Testing

So if you don't already know this about me, I'm a teacher. I don't teach a TAKS testing grade level, but I am quite aware of what a big deal it is (especially at my school). I made these cookies for a third grade teacher to give to her TAKS study group to encourage them during TAKS week. Everyone would be so glad and relieved when it was over. The kids and teachers loved them.

Time to resurrect this thing!

So I love, love, love reading the cookie/baker blogs of all the wonderful talent I see on Flickr.com and cakecentral.com. I really want to link my blog to all of those folks, but I need to actually post on it first. So I guess I will just start off by posting pics everyday/other day of my favorite cookie projects. Fittingly, I will post some Mother's Day cookie pics now.
